Hydro Statin Cream

Anti-Fungal with Mild Steroid

Composition:
Each 1g Hydro Statin Cream contains 100 000 Unit Nystatin (equivalent to 22.72mg), and 5mg Hydrocortisone Acetate.

Indications:
For the treatment of dermatoses, including intertrigo, eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, “House wife’s eczema”, pruritis Anita vulvae, in which infection with candida albicans is a factor, and for the treatment of severe napkin rash.
Hydro Statin is particularly indicated in the treatment of  dermatoses occurring in sites, such as the skin folds, in which special environmental conditions present predispose to maceration and chafing, leading to secondary infection with candida albicans and bacteria, which causing additional inflammation and persistent pruritis.

Usage:
Dermatitis: Apply a thin layer of the Cream with massage, three times daily until healing.
Napkin rash: After removal of the soiled napkin, clean and dry the affected areas then apply a thin layer of Cream. Treatment should be repeated after every napkin change, and normally doesn't exceed one week.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any component of the product.

Side Effects:
In rare cases it might cause allergic by long application, skin atrophy, striae, steroid acne, perioral dermatitis.

Precautions:
In infants, the long term continuous topical steroid therapy should be avoided and a course of treatment should not normally exceed seven days.

Use in pregnancy:
Topical steroids should not be used extensively in pregnancy, i.e. in large amounts or for prolonged periods.

Presentation:
