Each 1ml Solution contains 5.12mg of levofloxacin hemihydrate (0.512%w/v), equivalent to 5mg levofloxacin.

Mechanism of action:
Indications:
Floxamina is used to treat eye infections caused by levofloxacin susceptible microorganisms. Floxamina can be used to treat the purulent complications after ocular surgery.
Dosage:
1 – 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every two to four hours for the first two days and then four times daily.
The length of treatment should not exceed ten days.
Side Effects:
It may cause: Itching, burning, stinging, irritation, headache, painful sensation in the eye, eyelid edema, blepharitis, rhinitis, dermatitis.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of ingredients.

Levofloxacin should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
Caution should be exercised when Floxamina is administered to nursing mothers.
