Composition:

Each 100g Metrozol Gel contains 800mg metronidazole.

Properties:

Metronidazole is a 5 – nitroimidazole derivative with activity against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa.

Indications:

• Metrozol  Gel is used in the treatment of Rosacea.
• Metrozol Gel is indicated as antibacterial against negative gram anaerobic bacteria (Bacteroides), positive gram anaerobic bacteria (Clostridium), Protozoa as well as de-odourisation of fungal malodorous tumors due to its ability to eliminate the anaerobic bacteria causing odour.
• Metrozol Gel is used in the treatment of ulcerated inflammations and pressure sores.

Usage:

Apply Metrozol Gel once or twice daily as necessary, in the following way:

Skin at infected areas should be cleaned thoroughly. Then apply Metrozol Gel to the whole area sufficiently. Gavities should be packed with a pad of gauze, smeared with Metrozol Gel. It is preferable to cover the treated area with a non-adherent dressing or a pad of gauze.

Contra-Indications:

Hypersensitivity to metronidazole.

Side-Effects:

Sensitivity may be occurred.

Use in pregnancy & Lactation:

It should be used with caution during pregnancy or lactation.
